When properly cared for they have an average shelf life of 18 months. The round thumbpad gives 400 - 600 impressions (700 have been recorded in some cases!) and the rectangular pad 1000 before having to be replaced.

Each pad comes with self adhesive strips which conveniently attaches to any counter-top and is easily removed for replacement.
